These are the days of Elijah

By Apostle Lindon Daniel Frost

AMOS 3:7

SURELY THE LORD GOD WILL DO NOTHING, BUT HE REVEALETH
HIS SECRET UNTO HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS.

HEBREWS 1:1

GOD, WHO AT SUNDRY TIMES AND IN DIVERS MANNERS
SPAKE IN TIME PAST UNTO THE FATHERS BY THE PROPHETS.

The prophet of God is a divine seer. It is revealed from God in the heart of this vessel what will happen in the Future. Another definition of a prophet or prophecy is an expired speaker or to foretell future events; a poet.
Every prophet that God ever used, He first prepared him in solitude; a place to pray, fast, and wait. The Old Testament reveals four Major Prophets and twelve Minor Prophets, all of which had similar characteristics. One Is that they are all an influence to the nation of Israel. The question can be asked, " Where are the prophets that will tell us what God is about to do? Does the God of Israel see the condition on the earth? Why isn't He judging? A nation that legalizes homosexual marriages? Does He see how many abortions are performed daily? Does He sees the condition of the church and the home where fifty percent of the church is involved in divorce?"
The answer to these questions are "Yes, God sees." (Ezekiel 8:11-12) What He sees is that men are blinded to the reality that He knows the heart, and in His time He will speak through His prophets to these matters. Whenever moral political problems arose in
Judea and Jerusalem, God would raise up a prophet to hear his voice and to go and declare what was about to happen. When Saul transgressed in I Samuel 15:10, it was the prophet Samuel that came with the word of the Lord to reveal Saul's hidden disobedience and to prophecy concerning his future. When King David transgressed it was the prophet Nathan that God sent to speak the parable to him concerning his present and future condition. David was so blinded when Nathan read this parable which concerned him, that he could not discern that it was directed to his sinful lifestyle. In other words, God knows who we are, and how long we have been in this condition, and what it will take to deliver us. The present church age is foreign to the ministry of prophecy, much less to the ones who calls themselves a prophet or a prophetess (Luke 2:36, Acts 2:17, Acts 21:9). Doctor Bill Hammond writes in his book, entitled "The Eternal Church", ''as the ministry of the apostle and prophet founded the church so shall the ministry of the apostle and prophet put the finishing touches on the church. Prophets will be raised up in the church to purge the ministry and the believers. There is a great lack of the reverential fear of God within Christendom. Even present truth, Christians come to church services with all types of sin in their lives, ranging from ,sexual immortality, to gossip, jealousy, and party spirits. They sing, praise, rejoice, prophesy, and testify as though nothing is out of order in their lives. Anointed ministers, especially prophets, will move into a new realm of prophecy, word of knowledge, and discernment of spirits. They will expose this hypocrisy and cause a reverential fear to fall upon congregations. Christians will come to a place were they examine their lives in prayer and with the word of God before entering the church building to make sure every sin and selfish act is under the blood of Jesus. The religiously proud who try to justify themselves by lying to the Holy Spirit. who is speaking through these ministers, will receive the same judgment as Ananias and Sapphira when they lied to the Holy Spirit speaking through the Apostle Peter (Acts 5:1-11).")

There are men and women being trained once again in this school (Acts 13:1). God never releases the man or woman in this ministry, until he first trains them for what is before them. The word of the Lord has not ceased to reveal the secret in people’s hearts.
It comes through the prophetic anointing that God gives to select individuals      (ICorinthians 14:22-25). The prophet will prophecy, but all who prophecy are not necessarily prophets. There is a difference in the administration of the anointing. Some disagree; the prophet in our generation has ceased. Let this be a reminder that God, not man, does the calling (I Corinthians 12:28). There will be prophets of God in Mystery Babylon during the Great Tribulation (Revelations 18:24) and some will die. The prophet of God is distinguished because of his brokenness. He is feeling the heart beat of God for the land to which God has appointed him (Obadiah 1:1). Listen to the heart of God's prophet concerning the sins of Jacob (Isaiah 58:1). Jeremiah has been referred to as the "weeping prophet" simply because he understood the burden of the Lord for the people to which he was called. He understood his divine responsibility and that responsibility was in the hands of the prophets to which God had called in those particular countries or regions. The people of those days knew nothing of the future except through the prophet. Where there was no prophet, there was no vision from God and that defined that they were not aware of where they were at or where they would be taken to (Lamentations 2:9). The prophet was, and still is today, feared and despised by many (I Thessalonians 5:20). God never asked for our approval of what He said should be, and He has never ceased from the beginning to use men and women in this office of the prophet or astounding prophetic manifestations on the earth will soon take place when Elijah the prophet will return. He will come back and his entrance will take place before Jesus Christ of Nazareth returns (Malachi 4:5-6). This is a prophecy through a prophet who would not be alive when it came to pass. Elijah is coming; his prophetic ministry is not over, and I am persuaded by Divine Inspiration of the Holy Scripture that Moses will accompany Elijah in this prophetic entrance. It was Moses that accompanied Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-3). These two prophets are referred to in Revelation 11:1-6. This present doubting, mocking generation has yet to see what the God of Israel is about to do Jeremiah 32:27, Habakkuk 1:5, Acts 13:41). The order and atmosphere of the church is about to change and you and I will never be the same. Remember the Lord Jesus never schedules Him- self to be manifested. He will suddenly come as recorded in the prophet's letter (Malachi 3:1, Acts 2:2). Doctor Bill Hammond in his book, "The Eternal Church," says, "The ministry will not just be a noise any more, but it will be in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit." A different message is about to be heard, a different sound, a different day, a day of the prophetic. Sons and daughters be- cause the anointing will call in divine manifestations that have never been witnessed in any church age. There will be God's prophetic plan, Divine interruptions, wailings, and intercessions.
This will not only happen during church assemblies, but it will occur in homes; it will occur on the streets and in parks, in shopping malls. Unscheduled meetings will occur, and prophetic utterances will be given. Warnings will be given to cities, to communities, and to nations that have never been given. Catastrophes, terrorist’s attacks that have never occurred in regions and areas will suddenly take place without a warning: not by our television stations, not by satellite, not by computer but by a prophetic utterance through human vessels. The church will be moved by the force of God in the highways to give these warnings. The church is being prepped to birth children (Isaiah 66:8). God is not through with his people on the earth. He will once again move and change what man cannot. One of the signs of the entrance of the prophet will be the judgment of God that has been previously prophesied and spoke by prophets and prophetess in various regions, states, and nations.
The future days of the church will bring persecution and sleepless nights. The power that will come, that will be witnessed, will be unlike any power to be manifested through any church age. We will once again see our dead raised alive. We will once again see Divine manifestations. Jesus said these signs shall follow them that believe. In Isaiah 8:18 we read where the church is to be the signs within the earth. Not just the people carrying a book, but a divine life, and a voice that is not of her own but is that of her maker; a prophetic voice of the present and of the future. God will do nothing until his plan is revealed to the prophet (Amos 3:7). Prepare yourself because "These are the days of Elijah".
