Matthew Ministry Outreach
In 1991, the LORD gave me a vision for a ministry to feed the hungry and clothe the naked, but 9 years past before the reality was manifested (nine represents fruit). The doors for Walker County first soup kitchen were opened on September 8th, 2000. At 11:00 AM every Wednesday and Friday morning, several hundred people have worshipped the LORD and received clothing and both a hot lunch and groceries to take home. God has blessed these efforts from the start. Several have had their lives radically Changed by the illuminating power of the Holy Ghost. We have received media exposure from the Fox News Network and support people of all walks of life.
